The retreat offers the possibility of housing up to around 100 people. They can stay in comfortable single, double, or four-bed rooms, which also have showers and WCs. The upper floors can be reached by lift. The three floors of the house are separated into four different living sections, all of which can be independently run. Every section is equipped with its own kitchen and living space, and can be separately booked.

The Holiday farm
Our inn is located in the foothills of the Alps. The former farm was rebuilt in 1986 in a group-, guest- and seminary-house.
Kitted out with fan ovens, tilting pans, dishwashers and lots of work space, our kitchen should cater for your every need.
Our “large room” holds 100, and the seminar room 35 people. In the comfortable sitting room there is space for 30 people.
There is enough space for around 100 people to sleep. They can live in comfortable rooms of between two and four people, fitted with showers and WCs.
The YMCA retreat offers self catering accommodation, but half- or full-board can also be requested.
In our games room you can let off steam. There is also a table football and table tennis room.
Here you can work on your projects undisturbed. There is also a carpentry workshop.
Our devotional room gives you the possibility of finding peace and quiet to read your Bible or to sing and pray together.
Sitting room / dining room
Our cosy sitting room welcomes you with comfortable place to socialise (up to 30 people), a drinks bar and an espresso machine.
Guests with wheelchairs
6 rooms on the ground floor with 3 showers/WCs are specially provided. Showers and washbasins are adapted for disabled use. Solid shower seats are installed and stable handgrips in the WCs. The door widths are: entrance, 140cm; dining room/main hall, 84cm; lifts, 80cm (depth 140cm, width 100cm); specially equipped rooms, 140cm. Space in the showers/WCs, 140 x 140cm. Bed-height, 50cm.
By car or by bus...
From Munich you’ll get to the retreat most quickly on the motorway from München to Garmisch-Partenkirchen (A95), coming off at exit 7 (Seeshaupt). Then continue through Seeshaupt in the direction of Weilheim. Around 6km after Seeshaupt drive directly to Magnetsried.
From the west or the north it is easiest to take the motoway between Ulm and Memmingen (A7). In Memmingen, change to the A96, direction Munich. At Inning, exit 30, leave the motorway and drive through Herrsching and Weilheim to Magnetsried.
You’ll find the YMCA retreat if you turn off opposite the church. After 150m the retreat is on the right-hand side.
The nearest train stations...
… are the S-Bahnhof Tutzing (40 minute journey from Munich main station) and the DB-stations Weilheim and Seeshaupt (hourly DB trains from Munich main station).
