Information (House-rules)

The YMCA-Youth-Hotel has 85 beds. It's centrally located, but it's special character comes from being the headquarter of the Munich YMCA. Many young and old people meet here in a variety of programme. You are hearty invited to participate.

Opening hours

The hotel is open daily between 7.00 a.m. - 0.30 a.m., the reception is open daily between 8.00 a.m. and 0.30 a.m.
Guests returning later than 0.30 a.m. certainly can have a key.
There is to be quiet from 10.00 p.m. to 7.00 a.m. We kindly request you to show particular consideration for all guests during this time.

The emergency exit is located in the entrance hall next to the main entrance. Emergency instructions are to be found inside all wardrobe.

Note

Unmarried couples cannot be accommodated in the same room.

Breakfast

Group breakfasts are served between 7.30 a.m. and 8.30 a.m. The group leader is requested to arrange a fixed time for breakfast the day before, which is to be kept by the entire group.

Alcohol / Smoking

Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the rooms, however it is allowed in the Bistro. Also smoking is not allowed in the hotel with exception to the rear part of the Bistro.

Phone calls

Incoming calls will be connected to the floors (until 10 p.m.). There are public card- and coin-phones in the back lobby.

Key

We request you to hand in the key at the reception before leaving the house.

Visitors

Visitors may not be received in the room but in the entrance of the hall or in the restaurant.

Responsibility

The group leader has legal responsibility for minor group members. In every case the tour or group leader accepts responsibility that house rules are observed.

Damages

If deliberate or negligent damage has been incurred without the responsible person or persons having been determined, the entire group will be deemed liable. A cleaning fee will be charged if quarters are vacated in an excessively dirty state. The reception should be advised immediately on arrival if property in the quarters is found to be damaged or dirty, so as to avoid liability claims later.

Departure

Departure Groups are requested to make their beds and to take off the linen on the day of departure. Check-out time is 10 a.m. at the day of departure. The luggage may be deposited at the YMCA.
